Isaiah's Frog hat
Made this sweet hat for a sweet friend who had a precious little boy named Isaiah. She loves frogs. Had everything done but half an eye when I injured my hand and was ordered by my doctor not to knit, crochet, or write until the stitches are out. Finished it in time to give it to them today. Now I think I'm all caught up on my creativity blog!
Caden's onesies-just a sampling
We decorated onesies at Caden's baby shower. The were painted, stenciled, and lots of things. These are just the ones that needed stitching down. I made the monster one.
A fun and funky welcome
Ok. This isn't all that creative but we recently hired a male therapist in the midst of all us women. One of my co-workers has made big pretty bows for all our doors. Our new employee made some comment about not sure if the bow sent the right message to his clients with a big pink bow on his door. So we did our best with what we had on hand and made him a deer head like he had threatened to do. He thanked us for it but admitted it looked a little like a jackalope. Lol
Baby converse for Caden Markum
We recently had a baby shower for a sweet friend. The amazing Kristi Montague planned a perfect event. I made these for Caden soon to be born.
Flowers for the wedding 7
Poly satin flowers made by bridesmaids and friends and our friend Emily Ashley taught us how to make them.
Flowers for the wedding
Still trying out patterns. Making all the flowers for the wedding using different textures and fabrics.
Grey wool chemo cap
I had a ball with this one. It was made with Lion brand Hometown USA yarn. It is thick and chunky and the pattern is free on Lion Brand's website. I'm thinking of teaching a beginning knitting class making it since it uses very basic stitches. Oh, did I mention that Walmart carries the yarn for cheap and it only take done skein? Win/win.
