Dish cloth stash
I've been doing a lot if dish cloths lately because they are quick and mindless and always an appreciated gift. I made several this month and have another one on my needles now.
February catch up
I have done several creative things this month but just haven't posted them so I'm playing catch up tonight.
I made a pink and white hat that I didn't even get a picture of before I gave it away. Last night I finished this " popcorn hat out of some interesting yarn that was a 1" string and a bump very interesting to work with. Started with too small of a needle but it worked better with the larger one I switched to. Got the yarn at my favorite dollar store called dollar world in Selmer, TN just down the street where I work. 2 skeins=$2!

This month's chemo caps
I finished one more crocheted cap for this month's donation to the cancer center. The second picture is this month's total that I made. We had over 150 this month. In the last two and a half years, this group I work with has donated 4,677 hats to St. Jude and other area chemo centers! My work is just a pebble in the pond.
Bitty Baby Boy
This little boy baby is decked out in his green overalls. Unfortunately, the only baby buggy I have for him is baby blue. Oh well....lol. I'm thinking of selling these and using the money to donate to St. Jude or buy yarn for the group I work with that makes chemo caps for St. Jude and other area chemo centers.

Special Olympics Scarf
This scarf made for the scarf drive sponsored by Red Heart Yarn for the Winter Special Olympics. Their goal is to give every participant one. Any extras will be given to area homeless shelters. I made my donation in honor of Sean, my best friend's son who has Autism.

Blue mitten ornament #2
I had made this ornament especially for a close friend that is a blue lover and it seems to have gotten lost in our Christmas travels so I made her another one. These are so fun to make I didn't mind a repeat! It came off the needles completed tonight before the bitty baby project.
Bitty Baby
My Mom is going to laugh at this post. I made about a million of these when I was a kid and crocheted dresses and bonnets to my hearts content. Then I found these adorable little buggies and knew I had to make more for a new generation. This is my first in about 40 years and I learned a lot on this one. I used some of my grandmother's crochet cotton and went to town. I'm thinking of making more to sell in my empty etsy shop. I've always loved "bitty" things and enjoyed making this tonight as I wound down from the day. Now I'll be making babies again...I mean....only in the crafting sense. Lol! I also have blue buggies for my boy babies in their little shorts outfits. Will post them later on another night.
