Fun scarf

This loopy wonder scarf is a result of seriously clearances yarn that I went right home and made in one episode if Grey's Anatomy the very night I bought it. It is crochet with a yarn called Chinchilla. I wore it to work today.

Olivia's Table Runners

These lively table runners I made for my friend, Olivia Bradford to go on her amazing turquoise tv stand. She picked out the fabulous fabric. I just sewed them. I hope to get a picture of the completed project to add onto this post.

Happy Halloween

This year's festivities included a dress up day at the office. The first picture is the awesome pumpkin my son made. Then comes a cute little ghost I had nothing to do with her costume but just had to share (her parents went as Ghostbusters!). My costume was a struggle as I had to come up with something that people could still look at me and talk about serious things without being distracted. So my name tag said Hello my name is LIFE and I handed out lemons from a lemonade pitcher. (Get it? Huh? When life hands you lemons?) the rest is the costume parade if co-workers.

Lashon's Scarf

Made this scarf (knitted) for the nurse practitioner that works in our office. Beautiful turquoise.

Bridesmaid Dresses

Okay, I admit that this isn't very creative but it involved sewing. I hemmed these two lined bridesmaid dresses with over skirts (so three hems each) for sweet Brandi's wedding. Becky was one if the bridesmaids. I thought the dresses were beautiful.

Fall Pinterest Party

Some friends, new and old, got together to decorate pumpkins and taste the season courtesy of Pinterest. We had a blast and our hostess, Kristin Hester did a lovely job of decorating.

My gift for Kristie's Little Monster

Followed the monster theme for this hat and bootie set. I crocheted them and kind of made it up as I went along. I couldn't find the pattern I wanted. Loved the way they came out.

Little Monster Baby Shower for Kristie

Kristie's Little Monster Baby Shower was a great time with a matching game of our little monsters as babies and monster banners. We had so much fun welcoming this baby boy to be.
