Brown loopy scarf

Final post for 2012! This is another crocheted scarf in chinchilla yarn. There was another scarf I made in neon colors but I forgot to get a picture of it before I sent it to another of jm's teachers. I think I will make an album on Facebook for my 2013 creations instead of the blog. I do plan to go through the blog though and tally everything up just for fun. I'll post the results.

Green loopy scarf

Fun scarf

This loopy wonder scarf is a result of seriously clearances yarn that I went right home and made in one episode if Grey's Anatomy the very night I bought it. It is crochet with a yarn called Chinchilla. I wore it to work today.

My gift for Kristie's Little Monster

Followed the monster theme for this hat and bootie set. I crocheted them and kind of made it up as I went along. I couldn't find the pattern I wanted. Loved the way they came out.

More Preemie Caps

I put a needle close to these tiny hats so you can get some perspective of their size. I added one of my new embellishments on the little girl one. The two black ones were one knitted and one crochet and the other was crochet.

Little Trimmings

These little bugs came in a craft kit from the Dollar Tree. Had pattern, needle, and yarn. I thought they came out cute. Will use them on my chemo hats or preemie hats.

Another pair of converse

We had another baby shower the other day and I knew these would be quick and easy and always welcomed. So I made another pair.

Close up Views of the bugs

These were all in one of the kits. Great bugs and fun embellishments.

More Preemie Hats

I have seven little hats in my bag for Vanderbilt NICU. I had sent all the last bag months ago and then got busy and have just now gotten in the mood to do some more. Here are the ones I did tonight. One is crochet using one of the new embellishments I made and one is a simple crochet skull cap and my favorite is the little knit cap with a purple stripe. I'm just going through my scrap yarn bag and made these out of leftovers. They are all bagged and tagged now and waiting for more. I send my bags stuffed full! If anyone else wants to join me I can send the main pattern. They are like potato chips though. Very addicting!

Hat Decorations

So about a month ago I was in Dollar Tree, one of my favorite places to browse....and buy. They had some "Learn to crochet" kits that had yarn, patterns and hook. So, I bought one of each thinking I could use them with my clients. Patterns were easy to read and the embellishments turned out pretty cute. I plan to use them on my chemo and preemie hats. This is one of each. Each kit made three.

Isaiah's Frog hat

Made this sweet hat for a sweet friend who had a precious little boy named Isaiah. She loves frogs. Had everything done but half an eye when I injured my hand and was ordered by my doctor not to knit, crochet, or write until the stitches are out. Finished it in time to give it to them today. Now I think I'm all caught up on my creativity blog!

Baby converse for Caden Markum

We recently had a baby shower for a sweet friend. The amazing Kristi Montague planned a perfect event. I made these for Caden soon to be born.
