JMs Mitten Ornament

I made tons of these this year for my ornament swap, nursery babies at church, friends and family. They were small and extremely portable so many were made while we traveled around Europe last spring. However, all the blue ones were gone and JM doesn't know any color but blue so had to make one more for his tree. They are like potato chips...addictive!

Braided Edge Fleece Blanket

Tried a new no sew edge on this one. It looks braided but is actually each end looped into the next with crochet hook. it is easier than it sounds and only took me a little linger than the movie I was watching (Father of the Bride Two). the idea came from Pinterest and is a gift for my daughter's boyfriend who is crazy about pixar's Cars. It was fun to make.

Chemo cap 12-26-12

Chemo cap (adult) to be sent to local cancer treatment centers. My chemo caps are all given to cancer patients I know or to The Headhuggers group here in Henderson that donate monthly to area treatment centers and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. Made from donated yarn. Thank you yarn angels!

T-Shirt Scarf 12-27-2011

This is my first attempt at a tshirt scarf. Thanks to my friend, Sandy Bates and pinterest for telling me how to do it! It was easy and quick. I think has a link to show you how. I just did what Sandy told me to do. She was a good teacher!

Welcome to Sherry's Creations 2012

I wanted a place to keep up with all the things I love making during this year. I did a better job of keeping up with what I made in 2011 than in the past but still didn't quite hit the mark like I wanted to. My friends are always asking to see pictures so I thought that this way I could do both...keep up with what I made and show pictures to Mom and Bffs and anyone else who may be interested.

I love creating and fully believe we are here to make a difference so many (most) of my creations are charity crafts or gifts. I have many passions and you will see a little bit of everything on here. If you have questions just let me know. I do make a lot of my own patterns but most everything I'll be happy to share where I got the pattern or the idea from.

I had intended to start with the new year and am getting a jump start a few days early but wanted to make sure I actually got it done and started the new year with some momentum. Hope you enjoy browsing and getting ideas for your own creative passions. I have lots of charities that I support but am always looking for more to spread the word about. Choose those that mean the most to you and support your local communities too!

Happy Creations!
Sherry
